Anabel believes in taking an insight-orientated and collaborative approach to therapy, while considering the individual’s past wounds and attachment patterns. Anabel believes that each individual is the expert of their own life and their journey, unique to them, is one she honors and trust. Anabel works with self-regulation and understanding how important it is to feel connected, not only to others but to ourselves. She has a special interest in person-centered therapy, compassion-focused therapy, attachment theory, and EMDR Trauma Therapy. Anabel has experience supporting teens and adults in the areas of trauma, self-esteem, boundaries, belonging, depression, anxiety, empathy burnout and women from abusive relationships.
Anabel has a M. S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Hodges University located in Fort Myers, Florida. Anabel is currently a provisionally licensed Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern in the process of completing her state requirements for licensure. She is under the direct clinical supervision of Paul Belvitch who is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida #MH5059. Anabel has experience supporting teens and adults in the areas of trauma, self-esteem, boundaries, belonging, depression, anxiety, and empathy burnout.
