Julia Perez believes in taking a holistic approach to address the person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being to support health and healing.

Her strengths are in utilizing strategies such as  Cognitive Behavioral Techniques to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies, Strength-Based Techniques to identify and challenge cognitive distortions and promote resilience, Solution-Focused Techniques to focus on current circumstances and future hopes, Dialectical Behavioral Techniques for managing and regulating emotions, and Mindfulness Techniques to focus on learning how to be more aware and to reduce automatic responses. Julia enjoys working with teens and adults for anxiety, depression, grief, past abuse, relationship issues and reaching goals. 

EDUCATION: Julia Perez is a Certified Life Coach with a  bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Scranton located in Pennsylvania. She has worked as a mental health therapist in several agencies in Pennsylvania and Florida and as a school counselor in Florida.
